OSHAWA – The third Oshawa Fire Services’ Car Seat Clinic of 2018 is taking place Saturday, July 21 at Fire Station 6. It is estimated that over 75 per cent of child deaths and injuries due to motor vehicle collisions could be prevented with the proper installation and use of car seats. Oshawa Fire Services is inviting parents and guardians who use car seats to attend an upcoming free Car Seat Safety Clinic in 2018 to ensure your precious cargo is safely secured.
Remaining 2018 Clinics will run:
- Saturday, July 21 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Fire Station 6 (2339 Simcoe St. N., Oshawa)
- Saturday, October 27 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Fire Station 3 (50 Beatrice St. E., Oshawa)
Those interested in attending should:
Have the car seat(s) installed in the vehicle at time of arrival.
Bring the manuals for the car seat(s) and the vehicle.
Bring the child(ren) who ride(s) in the seat(s) present at the Clinic so they can be properly sized.
