Flags lowered to half-mast honouring victims of the Danforth tragedy

OSHAWA – The City of Oshawa has lowered the Canadian flag to half-mast at City Hall and all City facilities to honour the victims of yesterday’s attack on the Danforth in Toronto.

“On behalf of City Council and the City of Oshawa, we extend our deepest condolences to everyone affected by this horrible tragedy,” said Mayor John Henry. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and the first responders during this difficult time.”

The flags will remain at half-mast until further notice.
