This is the 3^rd year that Durham Regional Police will hold the Ontario Police Memorial Golf Tournament. In the first year we had 224 golfers participate and raised $14,165. Last year in 2011 we grew substantially to 360 golfers and raised $28,000. This is due to the overwhelming support from the Community, Businesses, Police Associations and golfers throughout all of Ontario. This tournament is to acknowledge the Officers that put their lives on the line everyday and to remember those that have fallen before us. This year we have booked the tournament for Wednesday August 29, 2012 at Deer Creek Golf Club, 2700 Audley Road North, Ajax Ontario. Tee off will be 12:00pm and Registration will begin at 10:30am. We have booked all five nines again this year, room for 360 Golfers. The cost for this year’s tournament is $740 for a foursome, which includes, round of golf, cart, entry into hole in one contests, longest drive and closest to the pin, lunch after nine, steak dinner, Nike package and a bag of goodies courtesy of Sobeys. This tournament is open to Police, civilians and members of the community. Payment is due in full and registration closes July 30^th, 2012.
