The Chamber Launches Translation Service PDF Print E-mail
The Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce has launched a translation service which enables website visitors to view its website in over 50 languages..The Chamber is using Google Translate, an automatic translator, which provides translation assistance to users who do not speak English as a first language  The Chamber acknowledges that the system does have its limitations. While it can help the reader to understand the general content of a foreign language text, it does not always deliver complete translations. To use the translation service, simply click on the Google Translate logo to the right, which will take you to the Google Translate service. You can then select any language from a drop down menu at the top of the page. This initiative supports the Chamber’s goal of continuing to be a responsive and caring business partner by enhancing customer service and responding to the needs of the community. As the Region of Durham continues to grow and becomes more diverse, language translation can help to keep the business community connected with their customers.
